Honorable Carol Ann Conboy, Associate Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Connecticut who served as an officer in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. She received her law degree in 1978 from Franklin Pierce Law Center, after which she clerked for Judge Shane Devine, the former Chief Judge of the New Hampshire Federal District Court. She was a partner in the New Hampshire law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton and practiced as a trial lawyer with a concentration in employment law. She was appointed to the bench in 1992 and sworn on to the New Hampshire Supreme Court in July of 2009.  She has served as Chair of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics, and  Chair of the New Hampshire Superior Court Sentence Review Board. In addition to her judicial duties, Judge Conboy serves as a member of the Franklin Pierce Law Center Board of Trustees.

On June 1, 2009, Governor John Lynch nominated Judge Conboy to the New Hampshire Supreme Court, replacing Justice Richard Galway, who retired.

On June 16, 2009, her nomination was unanimously confirmed by the Executive Council; she was sworn on to the New Hampshire Supreme Court July 8, 2009.
