Financing your degree

Happy students

Thinking about law school and concerned about the cost? Or have you already applied for admission and need to determine how to finance your legal education?

More than 85% of students enrolled in law schools throughout the country apply for some type of financial assistance. As you begin to research financial aid at Pierce Law, consider these financial aid fast facts:

  • Nearly 60% of Pierce Law students qualify for a scholarship and grant assistance.
  • Our students have the option of working on-campus or off-campus at various state and non-profit agencies through the Federal Work Study Program.
  • A variety of federal and private loans assist our students to pay both their direct costs, such as tuition and fees, as well as indirect expenses such as rent, food and medical expenses.
  • Our small size gives us the opportunity to individualize a student's cost of attendance for things such as daycare expenses and the purchase of a computer.
  • A Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) makes work in the public interest an affordable choice upon graduation.
  • A Federal Stafford Loan cohort default rate of less than 2% each of the last five years suggests that our graduates are financially able to repay their loans as they begin their careers.
  • It's easy to apply and we are here to help you!
